Website Accessibility

Mc’s Transmission is committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of all its digital properties, including “McsTransmission.com” for all people with disabilities. Mc’s Transmission is in the process of implementing the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) as its web accessibility standard.

McsTransmission.com uses the Divi Accessibility WordPress Plugin to improve accessibility in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, such as:

  • Adding appropriate ARIA attributes
    Improved keyboard navigation in menus
  • Makes modules such as toggle & accordion focusable and keyboard interactive
  • Adds a visual outline to focusable elements for keyboard-only navigation
  • Ability to change the keyboard-only outline color
  • Hide icons from screen readers which can affect the reading of text

Our website will be tested on a periodic basis with assistive technology such as screen readers and screen magnifiers, and with users with disabilities who use these technologies.
